The opportunity

A senior leadership role at Principal level, building and leading the healthcare provider practice of a global life sciences consulting firm. You’ll join the practice leadership team, win and grow relationships with hospitals and health systems, and shape the offerings that help them transform how care is delivered.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Help set and evolve the provider practice strategy as part of the senior leadership team
  • Lead business development across hospitals, health systems and integrated delivery networks
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engagements on time and on budget
  • Develop offerings in care delivery transformation, value-based care and operational improvement
  • Build the practice’s profile through thought leadership, conferences and health system forums
  • Recruit, lead and develop a growing team, and partner across the firm to bring its capabilities to provider clients
Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years in management consulting or leadership roles in healthcare, with deep knowledge of hospitals and health systems
  • An established network of relationships with health system and provider executives
  • A track record of winning new clients, driving revenue and delivering high-quality work within budget
  • The vision and drive to build and scale a practice, with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Executive presence, strong communication and the ability to lead virtual, multi-project teams
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, healthcare management or similar; an MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable
