The opportunity

Lead and grow the US health policy practice of a specialist life sciences strategy consultancy. You’ll own senior client relationships and set the direction for work that translates policy into pricing, access, commercial and advocacy strategy for biopharma clients.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Originate and grow senior client relationships, with responsibility for a book of policy strategy work
  • Advise executive, access and government affairs leaders on how US policy shapes pricing, coverage and reimbursement
  • Oversee multiple engagements at once, from issue prioritisation and positioning to policy proposals and communications
  • Shape the practice’s offerings, methods and thought leadership on drug pricing, insurance reform and PBM economics
  • Recruit, lead and develop teams of managers and consultants
Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years in life sciences consulting, biopharma, a trade association or a US health policy role, with a track record of business development
  • Recognised command of US drug pricing, coverage and reimbursement policy and its commercial impact
  • Deep understanding of insurance reform, PBM economics and the provider landscape
  • An established network among access, policy and commercial leaders, and published or public thought leadership
  • An advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA, MPH or MS) is preferred
