The opportunity

Lead pricing and market access projects for pharma, biotech and medtech clients at a leading life sciences strategy consultancy. You’ll shape launch and long-term pricing strategies, connect product goals with evidence requirements, payer expectations and competitive threats, and grow into a trusted adviser to clients and firm leadership.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Manage two to five pricing and market access projects at a time, across market access, pricing and reimbursement, value and evidence, and diligence support
  • Bring order and structure to new problems with hypothesis-led thinking and early, clear direction
  • Raise issues early, design sharp client and internal agendas, and keep teams out of fire drills
  • Lead client meetings with confidence, challenging client thinking and adding value beyond the team
  • Build client relationships that lead to repeat work and clients asking to work with you
  • Coach and mentor consultants, and contribute to the practice’s growth beyond project delivery
Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 5–7 years in life sciences strategy consulting
  • Project leadership across pricing and market access, with experience in both US and global markets
  • A good grasp of pricing and access dynamics and trends, and a growing network of access stakeholders
  • A track record of managing several client projects and teams at once
  • Excellent problem-solving, writing and presentation skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or business; an MBA, PhD or other advanced degree is preferred
  • Hybrid working, with around two days a week in the New York, Boston or San Francisco office
