The opportunity

A decision analytics consulting role in the insights team of a global life sciences consulting firm, building the statistical models and analyses that guide client decisions. You’ll work directly with clients from the start and grow quickly with structured training. Hybrid working, with client travel as needed.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Develop and apply advanced statistical models to help clients understand complex business issues
  • Use data and analytics to guide client and team decision-making
  • Design custom analyses in tools such as R, Python, SAS, Tableau and Excel
  • Synthesise and present results to clients and project teams
  • Build client relationships and act as a point of contact on parts of projects
  • Create deliverables, implement solutions and mentor newer team members
Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree with strong quantitative coursework, such as operations research, mathematics, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience after graduating
  • Programming skills (e.g. Python, R or Java) and proficiency with an analytics tool such as SAS, Tableau or VBA
  • Exposure to big data platforms and database systems
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a team-first approach
