The opportunity

Join the commercial strategy and insights team of a global life sciences consulting firm, supporting one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies through a fast-changing commercial landscape. You’ll gain broad exposure across commercial excellence, market insights, analytics and strategy. Hybrid working, with client travel as needed.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Structure client problems and develop solutions using proven problem-solving frameworks
  • Plan and run market and desk research to generate insights that inform client decisions
  • Build custom analyses and turn complex questions into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Support commercial excellence work, including field force strategy, customer engagement planning and performance analytics
  • Present findings to clients and project teams, and act as a key point of contact on parts of the project
  • Help manage the programme plan and status updates, and mentor more junior colleagues
Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree with strong quantitative coursework, such as operations research, mathematics, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in pharma, biotech, healthcare or life sciences; a PhD may substitute
  • Exposure to commercial analytics, market research, forecasting or customer insights
  • The ability to combine quantitative analysis with qualitative insight
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, and curiosity about AI-enabled tools
