If you are a candidate: your name and contact details, CV and career history, qualifications, current and expected salary and benefits, notice period, location and willingness to relocate, right to work, the roles you are interested in, interview notes and feedback, and references if you provide them.
If you are a client or contact at a client: your name, job title, organisation, contact details and details of the roles you are hiring for.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, ethnicity or religious beliefs. If you choose to share it, for example so a client can make adjustments to an interview, we will only use it for that purpose and with your explicit consent.
Most information comes directly from you, for example when you send us your CV, speak with us or apply for a role. We also find potential candidates through publicly available professional sources such as LinkedIn, company websites, publications and conference listings, and through referrals from people in our network. If we collect your details this way, we will tell you when we first contact you.
To find and approach people for roles, assess suitability and manage the recruitment process. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing executive search services to clients and candidates, which we balance against your rights.
To put you forward for a specific role. We will always discuss the role with you and get your agreement before we send your details to a client.
To deliver services to our clients under our agreements with them, and to keep in touch with you about relevant opportunities or market insight. You can ask us to stop at any time.
To meet legal and regulatory obligations, such as keeping records and supporting right-to-work checks.
Clients considering you for a role, only with your agreement. Trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as email, database and IT providers, who may only use your information on our instructions. Professional advisers, and regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal information.
Many of our clients are based outside the UK, including in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. If you agree to be put forward for a role overseas, we will share your details with that client. Where the country does not have UK adequacy status, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep candidate information for as long as it is useful for finding you relevant opportunities. If we have not been in contact for two years, we will delete or anonymise your information unless you ask us to keep it. We keep information relating to placements and client agreements for six years to meet legal and accounting requirements.
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it (including for keeping in touch), to have it transferred to you or another organisation, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email email us. We will respond within one month.
This website does not use cookies or tracking technologies. If that changes, for example if we add website analytics, we will update this notice first.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and secure, reputable providers for email and data storage.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
